ANNOUNCEMENT OF OPPORTUNITY

Kids2Mars Programme - 2020'

1.            Kids2Mars  -  is a unique initiative by InnovaSpace Events company, owned and run by Prof Dr Thais Russomano, mentor for Space4Women initiative of UNOOSA under the agenda of outreach and educational activities in the fields of space technology for kids and general public around the globe.

2.            The Kids2Mars initiative aims to create a symbolic representation of humanity by involving all 193 United nations Member states in a space project ;linked to the human exploration of Mars and to build an open access reservoir of knowledge related to the planet Mars and human missions to the Red planet, through questions from children and young people, answered by professionals from the space area. By far 37 out of 193 United nations Member states have participated in the activity and now the opportunity is being provided to Pakistani kids.

3.            In this regards, children (aged 6 – 18 years) are required to prepare 1-2 questions regarding Mars and submit as per attached submission instructions. Winning videos of two kids (one male & one female) shortlisted on the basis of questions will be sent onward for participation

4.            The winning kids will receive following incentives:

a.    Q&A Video launch/ airing during World Space Week-2020 by Prof Dr Thais Russomano herself through webinar

b.    Q&A video will be featured at Kids2Mars open access knowledge portal as representing Pakistan.

c.    Answer video of the expert will be shared with the winning kids

d.    Video featured on SUPARCO’s official Space education & Awareness website, www.sead.pk

e.    Recognition/ Certificate from SUPARCO

f.     Gift Hamper

5.         Consent and Submission forms, Activity Rules and Guidelines, and Video Guide are attached for reference and assistance

6.         Kids are encouraged to participate in this activity and get the chance to represent kids of Pakistan globally
